If you haven’t guessed it by now.. It’s Mem + Eliz

We’re a young-ish married couple navigating life. We have been tested as individuals, as a couple, and as entrepreneurs.  With each challenge we overcome, we walk away with a lesson and apply it in the pursuit of our goals.
With entrepreneurial parents that had several investment properties and in-depth knowledge of home renovations, at the age of eighteen Eliz purchased her first Real Estate investment.
This condo became the main stepping stone for our future. After several years of managing her investment with tenants and living rent free while studying, once we were engaged we decided it was time to sell the condo and buy our first home together.
Our next step was to purchase a home with a backyard fit for our Doberman and a place we could see raising our future kids.
In one intense year, we sold the condo, bought our house, moved to a different city, planned our wedding (that would take place in Cyprus – where Eliz is from), changed our jobs, renovated our new house from top to bottom and got married.
The renovations were challenging. We tore the house down to the studs, designed it to our liking and rebuilt with the help of our parents and our friends. We quite literally poured blood, sweat and real tears into what we became our incredible home.  
Investing, renos, DIY’s, design, and shopping for a bargain have become our hobby. But more than anything we love to see the fruits of our labour and we LOVE to share it with those around us.
Our friends and family oftentimes visit and ask for advice or tips based on our experiences. For this reason we’ve decided to start this website so that we can share our knowledge with anyone that might find it helpful.
We will be sharing our stories and experiences with investing, finances, mistakes we’ve made, our home renos, DIYs, design tips and ideas, links to all of the deals we find, and things we’ve learned.
Most importantly, we want to show you that if we could do it, you can too.
Beyond educating you, our goal is to INSPIRE you to take action!
